In 2010, after first place finishes at sectionals and regionals, Rich went on to make his mark in the CrossFit community with a dramatic 2nd place finish at the 2010 CrossFit Games Finals in Carson, CA. In 2011, after much anticipation through the open sectionals and team regionals, Rich once again forged through the fierce competition in the men’s individuals finals to take 1st place in the 2011 Reebok CrossFit Games, earning him the title ‘Fittest Man on Earth.’ Rich defended his title in the 2012 and became the first male competitor to win the title back to back.
Dan Bailey
Dan graduated in 2007 from Ohio University, where he was a sprinter on the Bobcats’ track and field team and majored in physical education. During his time as a collegiate athlete at Ohio, he was a three-time Academic All-MAC selection for both indoor and outdoor track and was named the MAC Male Track Athlete of the Week in 2006.
Dan placed sixth in the 2011 and 2012 CrossFit Games. He won the 2011 Central East Regionals.
After college, Dan worked as a middle school physical education teacher and served as assistant track and field coach at Fresno Pacific University.
A native of Uniontown, Ohio, Dan is pursuing a Master of Arts in Exercise Science, Physical Education and Wellness at Tennessee Tech.
Darren Hunsucker

Darren is… a Hunsucker and would like for us to add that he goes by “Rich’s cousin”.
His best asset is Jessica.
Darren has competed with the CrossFit Faith team at Regionals for the past two years.
Darren enjoys long walks on the beach and is famous for his collection of glass unicorn figurines.

Yvette Clark

Yvette has been active in sports and fitness throughout her life. Growing up in Colorado she played basketball and competed in discus through high school, where she went to state three years in a row. After high school, she played college basketball at the Colorado School of Mines, while she earned a Chemical Engineering degree.
After completing her undergraduate Yvette moved to Tennessee to start a career at Tennessee Tech University, where she eventually earned a Master’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Always active in sports and fitness she began running marathons and half marathons until she found CrossFit in the Fall of 2008!
Lauren Neal

Lauren grew up in Chattanooga, TN where she played multiple sports through high school. After high school, she started out playing softball for one year at Tennessee Tech University. After a short sabbatical from college, Lauren returned to TTU and played soccer to finish out her college eligibility while earning a degree in Management Information Systems.
Lauren has coached girls and boys soccer at the recreational level, travel, and at Cookeville High School from 1997-2011. In 2007, Lauren and Yvette started working out together and were eventually introduced to CrossFit. They have been hooked ever since!
Will Enochs

Will grew up in West Tennessee playing most sports but favoring extreme sports like aggressive rollerblading and BMX. Never one for the conventional “back and bi, chest and tri” workouts, he was never much of a gym rat. After being introduced to CrossFit in the summer of 2006 by some friends at a summer discipleship program He was immediately hooked because of the variation and intensity CrossFit emphasized.
An IT Professional by trade, Will received his CrossFit Level 1 Certification in Aug. 2011 and lives in Cookeville with his wife Alicia and son Camden.
Jen “Hoffee” Hoffman

Jen grew up in West Virginia playing multiple sports growing up. She came to Tennessee Tech to play soccer for the Golden Eagles and earned three awards for her 2009 season performance: OVC Offensive Player of the Week, OVC Offensive Player of the Year, and first-team all-OVC. She graduated in 2010 with her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and in 2011 with her graduate degree.
Jen currently is the Strength and Conditioning intern under Coach Chip Pugh at TTU. She has also coached soccer in the community through the local club for several years.

Nathaniel “Thaniee” Jones
CrossFit Movement & Mobility
Nathaniel (Thaniee) lived in Brazil until he was four while his parents were missionaries there. They then moved back to Nashville where Thaniee and his two brothers worked on a farm and were homeschooled until college. He became interested in fitness toward the end of high school and was introduced to CrossFit by a friend from church. He is currently attending Tennessee Tech University where he is a senior and double majoring in Exercise Science and Nutrition. At Tech, Thaniee has volunteered for a semester under the strength and conditioning coach, Chip Pugh, and has also helped get various friends involved with CrossFit. His plans involve staying at Tech to get his masters in Exercise Science and seeing what God has in store for him after that.
