We just want to say that we are so excited about how well the Grand Opening went yesterday. We weren’t sure what to expect, but it was awesome!
Thank you to all of those who came to visit us for the first time. Those from the community who checked us out and those from out of town to participate in the event. And a huge thank you to all our members who pitched in to make it a success!
A last big THANK YOU is for all the toys that were brought for our TOYS FOR TOTS drive! We are happy to say it was a huge success!
Philippians 2:4 – Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.
We are blessed to have such wonderful community of CrossFitters and our own local community support in Cookeville!
Join us for our Grand Opening on Saturday, December 8th.
We will have our Grand Opening on Saturday, December 8th. We would like to welcome anyone in our community who is interested in CrossFit, any of our CrossFit friends, our members, and anyone who just likes to experience new things and see what is going on!
TIME: 10am-4pm LOCATION: CrossFit Mayhem, 41 S Cedar Street, Suite A, Cookeville, TN 38501
(Right behind Ralph’s Donuts, in the same building as Cybertag)
We will have a meet and greet from 10am-11am with Rich Froning (Fittest Man on Earth, 2011, 2012) and Dan Bailey (6th Place, 2011, 2012)
We will also have people there to talk to our guests about CrossFit and what we can do for you at CrossFit Mayhem.
The CrossFit Mayhem Store is now online. We only have a couple items right now, but we will have more coming! More shirts, decals, hoodies… we are working on it!
You can click the STORE link at the top of the page to access it at any time.
Just a few things.
The shirts run a little small, but they don’t really shrink. Check the sizing information to see what works best for you.
We will only ship once a week right now. We can ship to anywhere in the US and APO’s. We can also ship internationally, but if your country isn’t showing a shipping cost contact us first and we will get that setup for you so you can place an order.
Joshua 1:9 – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.
Congratulations to Team USA on winning the first ever CrossFit Invitational!
Congratulations to our firefighting CFM members on the TUFF Challenge!
On September 29th several of our CrossFit Mayhem members competed in the Tennessee Ultimate Fire Fighter (TUFF) Challenge. Brandon Lee, Kurt Craig, and Travis Fansler competed in the team event along with their fellow firefighter Jon Dukes in a five-person team event. As you can see by the number of people, they competed with only four on their team and placed 3rd in the competition. One of their members, Travis Fansler, also competed in the individual competition and placed 4th prior to the team competition. Nice job guys!
Going into Round 11 of the 2012 Can-Am GNCC Racing series this past weekend in St Clairsville, OH,
Dalton Cross had his work cut out for him. With the current points lead in his possession and working his
way towards the 2012 National Championship in the 4 Stroke B Lites class, Dalton knew that he would
have to bring his “A” game to the starting line as he would be lining up against some of the fastest
amateur off road racers in the country. With rain in the forecast for the weekend, the track conditions
were better than expected but the wet weather still produced several nasty mud holes along with other
obstacles that would take their toll on both men and machines as the day went on.
Jumping out to an early lead in the 3 hour long race, Dalton set the pace as he sprinted out ahead of
the rest of his class while working his way through a maze of other racers from classes that had started
previous to him. Keeping pace with fast, consistent lap times while covering the technical 10 mile course
for a total of 6 laps, Dalton was able to bring home the win with a 2 minute lead over the rest of the pack
and move himself one step closer to the National Championship. Dalton’s fitness played a key role in his
race, allowing him to stay strong and mentally focused from start to finish.
Dalton credits a large part of his success and accomplishments in off road racing this season to
the level of fitness that Rich has helped him to achieve. For Dalton, Rich has been both, trainer and
mentor…leading by example and bringing to reality what hard work and dedication can produce.
