OPEN Workout 14.2 – We will have Friday Night Lights again this week and we will do the 14.2 workout. If you plan to participate on Friday night, please make sure you have filled out the CF Mayhem Open Workout Registration Form.

REMINDER: We will not have the 4:45pm, 6pm and 7:15pm class on Friday. CROSSFIT KIDS will be at 4pm instead of 4:45pm.

  1. Back Squat at 255

    MetCon: maxed out at 25:00 did the 3 full rounds as RX’ed and on the 4th completed to 12 Pull Ups. Was the first time in a few years after my knee issue that Iwas able to do the Pistol Squats. Great work for my training partner for completing 3 full rounds scaled and 6 pistols.

  2. Front squat 4×4 with 120lbs
    (I don’t have enough weight to do back squats yet and I needed to work on form anyways) 1 min rest between each set

    Metcon RXed at 27:32….

    That many strict pull-ups is what killed me. The last few sets I had to break up into 5-10 reps.

  3. BS: 4×4 : 220

    Metcons: 3 rounds + 20 pull-ups.

    Anyone who finishes this is a beast at pull-ups. I did all these strict, no-kipping. The HSPU were not that bad without kips, but the strict pull-ups killed me, I sat around staring at the bar for a good amount of time.

    Metcon – stopped looking at clock at max time. first time doing pistols ( had to assist with hand on bar) finished all as rx’d but not in the time cap….good wod though!!
